Sinan Sevinç is one of the most exciting emerging creative voices of today. A journalist-turned-director who masters the art of storytelling, he creates original and commercial films that authentically reflect modern culture. Sinan’s portfolio includes work for Netflix, Apple, adidas, Mercedes-Benz, Samsung and more. His graduation short reimagined the events that led up to three pivotal moments in history, and picked up five YDA awards in Cannes including the Grand Jury Prize. Sinan recently created ‘The Great Escape’ for Apple, a ‘shot on iPhone’ campaign that amassed more that 65 Million views in one month and has gone on to become Apple’s most-seen spot in Europe.
Growing up in the city of Tübingen, he first worked in various agencies as a conceptionist and copywriter after graduating from high school. In 2014, he began studying “Crossmedia Journalism” at the Stuttgart Media University. Three years later, he successfully finished with distinction. His fascination for film then led him to the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2017, where he began studying directing. In 2023 he graduated with a diploma. Today, he works as a director on feature films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos. His films are characterized by an authentic storytelling paired with a multicultural sensibility rounded off with an always atmospheric visualization.
